What to Expect
With proper care, The Keratin Tip lasts 3–3.5 months, or roughly 10–14 weeks.
Do's
- Use professional salon care and color-safe products — shampoo, conditioner, and styling products included.
- Brush hair morning and night, and again before bed, using a good detangling brush and working from the bottom up.
- Secure hair in a loose braid or silk pony at night for the best care.
Don'ts
- Avoid water for the first 24 hours after installation — no working out, showering, or sweating.
- Don't apply products directly at the bond, including oil, detangler, or leave-in — this promotes slippage.
- Avoid high buns, which can cause tension at the bond.
